The Red Ride

Red Ride FAQ's

Q. Where does the money raised by the RED Ride go?

A. For the past three year’s money generated by the RED Ride as been given to the Canadian Diabetes Association. However we now have the opportunity to support the patient directly. Through the York Central Hospital Diabetic Centre we will be purchasing machines needed by diabetic patients. By doing this we avoid any administration costs and the patient receives 100% of your contribution.

This year we will purchase an Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitor Machine and by doing so diabetic patients will have access to this device without paying for the service which is NOT covered by OHIP.
